Thank you to everyone who attended the Love Your Library event. We raised over $34,000 for our new library building fund. We also received a $500,000 WA state grant thanks to the FVRLibraries Foundation and their dedicated work.

Dear Friends of Woodland Community Library,
With the growing concerns about the impact of COVID-19 in our community and nation, all Friends meetings and social events will be cancelled until May 1st.
It is important to follow the recommendations put forward to help prevent any spread of the virus, to have containment as soon as possible. We want to do our part to remain vigilant during this time.
At the beginning of May, we will evaluate and see if there needs to be further action taken.
Thank you and be safe,
Betty Bates
Friends President
Book Sale
Friends of Woodland Community Library
Friends of Woodland Community Library will hold a book sale on Friday, June 19th (10am-4pm) and Saturday, June 20th (9am-1pm). It will be held in the Woodland Community Center, 782 Park Street, across from the Woodland High School and next to the Woodland Community Library.
Prices of children’s books range from 25¢ to $1. Most other books are $1. All media items are 2 for $1. We have lots of material for homeschooling.
The book sale will fund library activities and a future library.
For information, call 360-560-8130.
The Friends currently have two raffle opportunities, a quilt and a fishing trip. Tickets are available at the book sale and the Planters Days table.
Come to our wonderful “Burgerville”, one of Woodland’s great Community-minded businesses. They will be donating 10% of the sales during the hours of 4pm-8pm to the building fund of our New Library. We hope to see you all there…It’s FUN !!
Would you like to donate to the Woodland library? Visit the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation website and click the purple “Donate Now” button on the left. You are also welcome to drop off your gift at the library. Ask us about planned giving, too!
The Friends of Woodland Community Library support the library with volunteer time and energy to raise funds and promote library events and services. Friends’ fundraisers provide for annual events like the Summer Reading Ice Cream Social, or special programs (see picture above) or equipment that the library could not afford otherwise.
Our primary focus right now remains the building fund, so that the people of Woodland can enjoy a library large enough to accommodate everyone’s needs for computing, reading, studying, and gathering.
Read more about who we are and what we do on the “About” page. Find our upcoming events on the “Projects” page. See more pictures on the “Photo Album” page. Come and join us!
