New Woodland Community Library

Ground Breaking on Saturday, June 17th

Stay tuned for details!

Going forward with a 7500 square foot building will allow FVRL to bring a new library to the community and reserve the opportunity to expand it in the future when more funds may be available. Over the past year, additional money has been allocated to the project, including $1.5 million from FVRL’s capital reserves, and our Foundation has secured an additional $2.5 million in capital grants from the Washington State Legislature in the 2021 and 2022 sessions.

The Library Board recently subdivided one half acre of the 2.4 acre property to sell as it is not needed for the new library project. The new library will be built on the remaining 1.9 acres at 411 Lakeshore Drive, Woodland, WA, 98674

We are waiting for the Construction Drawings to be completed and then the building will go out for a construction bid.
